I wrote this song as part of my recovery therapy after dancing a catastrophic tango with a vampire --- we like to call them "psychopaths" these days. When you're the target of a psychopath, it's like somebody shining a bright light in your eyes. You can't see what's behind it because you're blinded by the light. But when they shine that light someplace else, then you can see who's holding it. That's why a few other people, friends I should have listened to, could see that there was something very wrong with this person, but I could never see it for myself, until she shined her light on someone else, and the lies and manipulation were obvious. You could say that at that moment, it all became christel clear.
